  2. Can anyone tell me a bit about the history of Abingdon Sewage Works as a birding site? I am working on the diaries of Charles Elton and he refers to going there with his son to look at birds in the 1950s and 1960s, but how has it changed since? Is it still a 'regular' spot to visit? (Note I am a botanist, not an ornithologist).

  3. Does anyone have the Pit numbers and grid locations of all the Standlake pits please?
