Well do you,Norman,you have managed to capture a very unusual scene at Pinkhill.The reason for my reply is, have you thought about sending the picture to one of the monthly birding magazines as it will amaze a bigger audience, as I have looked at the picture several, and it still amazes me and nuts a smile on my face.

  3. At this time of year pike are spawning in the reeds and are often closely packed. The heron has probably grabbed the first fish and skewered the second.
